Job Introduction

As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo Ferry field House site in Edinburgh, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, working behind the scenes to support our chefs and ensure every dish is served to the highest standard.

What you’ll do:
  • Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
  • Wash and store pots, crockery, and utensils properly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the pot wash area and machinery.
  • Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables and break down stations at the end of meal periods
  • Help with stock deliveries and rotation.
What you bring:
  • A positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
  • The ability to stay on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene)
  • No previous experience needed — just the right mindset and a team-first approach.
