Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts seeks a Kitchen Assistant for a public sector client in Edinburgh City Centre. This temporary, part-time position runs Monday to Friday, 0800–1400, paying £13.66 per hour, with an immediate start.

Duties involve food preparation, crafting sandwiches and baguettes, brewing hot drinks, serving customers, and processing cash or card payments. Maintaining spotless, orderly work zones is essential, alongside other assigned tasks. The role suits someone with solid catering knowledge, a tidy approach, and a customer-focused manner. Prior experience in a similar setting proves advantageous.

Role – Catering Assistant

Location – Edinburgh City Centre

Hours – Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1400

Start date – immediately

Pay - £13.66 per hour

You will be carrying out, but not be limited to:

Assistin g with food preparation
Making up sandwiches and baguettes
Making teas and coffees
Serving customers
Handing payments by cash and card
Keeping all areas clean and organised at all times
Any other t asks as required
