As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play an essential part in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service in a friendly and welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences that reflect the high standards of the Marriott brand.
Key Responsibilities- Welcoming guests warmly and assisting with seating arrangements.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving food and beverages in line with health and safety standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas.
- Supporting the team during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handling payments and operating the till where required.
- Adhering to all food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to meet guest needs.
- Reporting any issues or feedback promptly to management.
- Previous experience in a similar role within Catering & Hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and approachable manner with strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety principles is advantageous.
