Customer Team Leader

Location:

6-8 Comely Bank Road Stockbridge, Edinburgh, EH4 1HQ

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract:

24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

Age requirement: A minimum of 18+ years old to authorise age‑related sales.

You’ll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer even more choice and exciting new services to customers. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. You’ll also champion Co‑op membership, helping to drive the growth of our unique business.

What you’ll do
  • Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
  • Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
  • Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in‑store bakery supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
  • Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
  • Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.
