The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Assistant to work with Steven and the team in our Edinburgh store. This contract is 40 hours per week (overtime also available). Candidates must be flexible to work on Saturdays and at least one weekday, including bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have previous key holder experience and will be available for store opening and closing shifts.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
As a Senior Sales Assistant you will work with the store management team to ensure the store, people, and operations comply with all legal and safety requirements, and will take responsibility for opening and closing the store. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain expert product knowledge, and take ownership of custom, customer, and wedding appointments. You will support the Store Supervisor in inducting, training, and coaching Sales Assistants, maximise sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, and maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in line with company VM, Health & Safety guidelines and security processes.
You will also process deliveries, transfers, and merchandise efficiently and accurately.

Required Skills And Experience- Retail experience (apparel or customer‑facing preferred)
