Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; you can also work fewer hours, down to 12.

Responsibilities include:

• Being a colleague in one of our stores means that you will help to serve our shoppers better every day.
• You will meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
• Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Giving great natural service, passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Putting into practice the training received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve our customers brilliantly.
• Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs on time.
• Participating in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Being knowledgeable about the store's performance, understanding the part you play to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and following our policies.
• At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
