Technical Sales Engineer - Scotland & Ireland

White Label Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading cold rolled steel manufacturing business to recruit a Technical Sales professional to cover Scotland and Ireland.

• Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
• Discretionary bonus scheme

• Fully remote role with flexible travel

This Technical Sales role focuses on developing new business while maintaining and growing existing customers across Scotland and Ireland.

The position is fully remote, with travel required for:

• Customer meetings (in person and via Microsoft Teams)
• Factory-based sales meetings
• Preparation of estimates and quotations

You will also be responsible for ensuring sales are delivered in full and that payments are received in line with agreed terms.

The Technical Sales function specialises in rolled section sales and ancillary system components, supplying the purlin, mezzanine, and SFS infill walling markets. Additional services include laser cutting, pressing, and fabrication.

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience within the cold rolled steel sector
• Strong technical understanding of steel framed buildings, purlin and rail systems, mezzanine floors, and SFS infill systems
• Excellent time and territory management
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Resilient and adaptable sales approach

• Software:
  Dynamics 365, CRM systems, SharePoint, Microsoft Office
• Desirable:
  Engineering HNC or degree
• Essential:
  Full UK driving licence
