About the Role
The purpose of the Sales Enablement team is to provide responsive administrative support that creates the capacity within sales allowing team to focus on driving forward critical growth opportunities. The internal sales desk will support a broad range of activities including securing internal resource, client meeting preparation and follow up, and pro‑active client engagement.
The team will also focus on embedding best practice across sales and within our client’s businesses to prevent more efficient ways of working and reduce duplication.
The function will work across the Adviser business to ensure an exceptional client experience is delivered. As part of that the team will always look for better ways of working using insight to influence positive changes in our client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support sales colleagues by booking client meetings and securing internal delegates to attend meetings
- Pull together client meeting agendas and actions for use in growth discussions held by sales
- Create and keep up to date pitch packs ready for sales to use to drive growth opportunities
- Draft and manage commercial business cases on behalf of sales
- Analyse and pull trading data to drive sales conversation and meetings
- Pro‑active client engagement supporting sales messages on propositional launches, campaigns, etc.
- Promote and follow up of abrdn events including technical events programme
- Help sales maintain account intelligence pages on Salesforce to ensure quality insight held on clients
- Help with internal resourcing to secure PC, RM or specialist support
- Ensure work with Service Enablement team to progress any complex queries
- Work with RMs and PCs to ensure consistency of message to clients
- Able to work with senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to adapt and work closely with the sales teams
