EDS Sales SpecialistDentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is seeking a qualified individual for the role of EDS Sales Specialist. The selected candidate must live in North UK or Scotland.
Role and Responsibilities- Sell EDS products and workflows to achieve or exceed territory targets.
- Segment and target new and existing customers to grow within the specialization area, building strong relationships and connections between the customer and Dentsply Sirona EDS brands.
- Build strong relationships with dealers to uncover opportunities and embed regular collaboration into the work process.
- Gather and capture market intelligence to support account planning.
- Articulate business and clinical benefits of the workflows.
- Present workflow value propositions face‑to‑face and virtually for all specified areas to positively influence buying behaviour and purchase decisions of territory accounts.
- Act as the regional EDS workflow specialist for Dentsply Sirona brands, providing technical knowledge and facilitating technical training on workflow use, operation, and maintenance.
- Promote e‑commerce channels to encourage customers to connect, search, and shop online.
- Attend exhibitions, company meetings, regional events, and courses as required to sell to new customers and grow existing ones.
- Organise specific customer events that support DS brand growth.
- Record all customer interactions and information in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Complete routine administration tasks accurately and on time (e.g., SFDC calls, leads, opportunities, expenses, emails, monthly reports, LMS, PDPs).
- Maintain up‑to‑date workflow marketing materials (Sales Media App, Sales Compass, How‑to guides).
- Analyse and interpret account strategies and plans, and data from SFDC and other sources (e.g., Power BI) to gain insights into account needs.
- Develop DI knowledge, present, and sell IOS.
- Understand and sell the benefits of DS Core within the EDS specialism.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to target new and growth opportunities within the territories. Own the territory.
- Collaborate with other DS Sales Specialists to develop mutual opportunities for DS brands, products, and workflows, responding and following up with colleagues in a timely manner.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record with a competitive drive for results.
- Experience working individually and within highly collaborative team environments.
- Excellent product, workflow, and industry knowledge.
- Professional ability to target, network, and build relationships between customers and DS brands.
- Enthusiastic, efficient, and highly organised.
- Structured thinker able to prioritise a demanding workload through business planning and territory account management.
- Analytical skills using tools such as PCDSO, Excel dashboards, SFDC, Power BI, or other sales metrics.
- Experience engaging customers virtually, utilizing e‑details and encouraging self‑service.
- Application of advanced professional selling skills principles to all dialogues.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, Zoom, Internet, and e‑detail tools such as Sales Media App.
- Proficiency with common applications:
Excel, e‑mail, SharePoint, One Drive, CRM systems (e.g., SFDC). - Account management, negotiation, and presentation skills; confident and articulate.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities; initiative‑driven and solution focused.
- Must live on territory; flexible to cover a large geographical region.
- Travel abroad – ad hoc.
- Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Consistently meets company standards, ethics, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to undertake regular business travel including overnight stays if required.
