Regional Sales Manager (GCS-SC- RSM Scot) Edinburgh, Scotland

Location: An external role covering Scotland but mainly the Central Belt

Sector: Builders Merchants / Construction Supplies

Package: £55,000 - £65,000 (highly dependent on experience) + Bonus + Car

This highly successful company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager to join at top‑end of the business. This is an important role within the company.

This business specialises within the civils sector therefore the ideal candidate will have experience of civils products but if you have transferable sales skills relevant from another sector in the construction supply world then you may well be considered.

The business has an enviable range of products sold into the builders merchants world and the construction sector itself. This gives multiple channels in which to generate business but a big part of the role is also keeping the existing ledger of customers happy. They have become accustomed to really good service and this must be maintained.

This is a well‑run business with a good reputation with staff and customers alike. They don’t just sell a product, they advise with solutions for individual needs producing an enviable all‑round service.

To avoid disappointment, you must have experience of working in the construction supplies sector and you must have demonstrable sales experience for this position too.

This position requires someone who is really confident talking to people, understanding their needs and acting on this to provide sterling service. Attention to detail is also key.

This is an interesting and varied role with a great scope for keeping existing customers happy and then generating new business too.
