The RoleWe're looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to support the wider BD team in driving new business activity. This is a fantastic entry point into technology sales for someone who is organised, personable, and keen to build a career in business development. You'll be involved across the full sales cycle — from prospecting and meeting support through to helping get Master Service Agreements (MSAs) over the line.
Key Responsibilities- Support senior BD team members in identifying, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities
- Help coordinate and prepare for client meetings and pitches, including note-taking and follow-up actions
- Create and maintain marketing and sales collateral — proposals, case studies, decks, and one-pagers
- Assist in drafting, tracking, and progressing MSAs and other commercial agreements through to signature
- Keep the CRM accurate and up to date with opportunities, contacts, and activity
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to support pipeline growth
- Liaise with marketing, technical, and legal colleagues to keep collateral and contracts moving
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities as needed
- Some experience in a business development, sales support, or marketing role (professional services or technology sector experience is a plus, but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling contracts and client-facing materials
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft 365
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
