Retail Security Officer

Overview

Morrisons, Portobello Road. Kingdom Group, a trusted partner of Morrisons Supermarkets, is looking for a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team. Salary: £12.21 per hour |

Hours:

Average 35-45 per week |

Location:

Edinburgh, EH8 area

• Patrolling and monitoring the store to maintain a secure environment
• Acting as a visible deterrent against theft or other incidents
• Completing detailed reports of observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Responding calmly and professionally to any challenging situations
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer and team needs are met

This role requires availability for the following shifts:
Thursday: 11:00–22:00;
Friday: 10:30–22:00;
Saturday: 10:30–22:00;
Sunday: 08:00–20:00

We re looking to get the right person in the team asap!

• Professional, observant, and able to exercise good judgment
• Confident in communication and excellent at providing customer service
• Experienced in a security role (desirable, not essential)
• Holding a valid SIA Licence (or in the process of obtaining one)
• Able to provide a full five-year checkable employment history
• Own transport is preferred
