Salary: £15.55 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Johnnie Walker in the heart of Edinburgh. In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors and customers while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sodexo and play a key role in protecting people, property and assets within a prestigious client site.

• Provide a visible security presence across the site.
• Monitor access and egress, ensuring authorised entry only.
• Carry out regular patrols of the premises.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.
• Operate security systems including CCTV where appropriate.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to colleagues, visitors and contractors.
• Follow all site security procedures and health & safety policies.

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential).
• CCTV SIA licence (desirable).
• Previous security experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm and professional approach under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to undergo Security Vetting and Disclosure checks.
