Location: City of Edinburgh
Eligibility
Only open to internal staff of NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
PositionSecurity Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Hours and Shift Pattern5-week rota, 36hrs per week over 7 days. Shift patterns 7.00-3.00pm, pm and 11.00-7.00am. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
What you will doThe general role of the security is widely varied and consists of duties such as driving, monitoring CCTV, patrolling premises, locking and securing premises, issuing keys.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job- Clean Driving License
- Numerate, literate and practical
- Good communication at various levels e.g., Estates, Heads of Department, Practice Managers etc.
- Ability to use own initiative to anticipate and make appropriate decisions
- Expected to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible approach to work and working hours
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
