Security Officer

We are looking for a
Security Officer
to join a
leading global security company
based inEast Pilton,Edinburgh(EH5).

• Salary£29,731.44 per annum
  (£13.61 per hour)
• Overtime:£20.41 per hour
  (available on days off)
• 4 on 4 off Shift pattern
  – Rotating
  Days and Nights
  – 07:00 to 19:00 & 19:00 to 07:00
• Permanent role
  and working on average
  42 hours per week

Security Officer
, you will be based at a core site in Edinburgh, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. You will
monitor access points
, conduct
regular patrols, respond to incidents, complete reports
, and ensure all site procedures are followed at all times.

We are looking for candidates who
hold a valid and in-date SIA Licence along with a
full UK driving licence
.

Due to the nature of this role,
enhanced security screening will be required
. This will include a five-year UK residential history check, criminal record checks, financial background screening, and verification of employment and references covering the past five years.

• Monitor site access points and control entry/exit
• Conduct regular site patrols to ensure safety and security
• Respond to incidents and elevate where necessary
• Complete accurate reports and maintain records
• Ensure compliance with all site procedures and security protocols
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and Duty Manager
