Security Officer (SC Clearance) Next Day Interviews!

Edinburgh, UK
Pay: £13.61 per hour OR £29,724.24 per year!

Hours:

42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, followed by 4 nights on / 4 nights off.

Our Recruitment Process

• Suitable candidates may be offered a next‑business‑day interview, subject to availability and meeting essential criteria of the role.
• Successful candidates will receive a hiring decision as soon as possible following interview.
• Offers, onboarding and screening will be progressed promptly, subject to checks and clearance requirements.

• Interview opportunities from the next business day, where available
• Onboarding and screening commencement within approximately 7 business days
• Please note:
  
  Timescales are indicative and may vary depending on application volumes, interview availability, screening requirements and operational needs.

• Conducting security patrols
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Responding to incidents and emergencies
• Carrying out searches and access control duties
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment

• Due to site and role requirements, candidates must be eligible to obtain (SC) Security Clearance. This requires applicants to hold British nationality, possess a valid British passport, and have lived continuously in the UK for the past five years.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
• Valid SIA Licence or willing to undergo training for this qualification (all funded by us)
