TD Recruitment are currently looking for skilled HGV Mechanics to join our client in Musselburgh, EH21 area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
* Perform routine servicing and inspections
* Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
* Replace or repair faulty parts and ensure roadworthiness
* Complete job cards and service records accurately
* Work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HGV mechanic/technician
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
* Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or
2) is a plus
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Own tools preferred
* Must have right to work in the UK
Start:
As soon as possible, Monday to Friday, long term work for the right applicants
