Position: Team Leader - Parent Infant Partnership (PIP)
Location: City of Edinburgh

Team Leader – Parent Infant Partnership (Whole Family Wellbeing)

Fixed term until 31/05/2027. 12‑month position.

Location:

Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre, Edinburgh.

Salary: £56,392–£67,457 (pro‑rata for part‑time).

Hours:

22.25 per week, 52 weeks.

Overview

The Whole Family Wellbeing Fund will continue to support The Parent Infant Partnership in Edinburgh for its 3rd year. This role involves developing the partnership’s work with CEC, NHS Lothian and Dean & Cauvin Young People’s Trust, and evaluating services for pregnant women and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small staff team and manage case‑management processes.
  • Handle referrals from professionals across Edinburgh.
  • Maintain budgets and identify training and development needs.
  • Develop evaluation methods and collate evidence to inform service delivery recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated collaborative working and evidence evaluation in practice.
  • Commitment to supporting children and families in Edinburgh.
  • Preferred candidate will join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check and be prepared to provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if required.
