Senior Social Worker needed for our Assessment Team in Staffordshire, paying £38 ph!

As a Senior Social Worker within the Assessment Team, you will play a key role in undertaking high-quality assessments and ensuring children and families receive timely and effective support. You will manage complex cases, assess risk, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong assessment skills, sound professional judgement, and a commitment to delivering child-centered practice.

As part of your role, you will:

• Manage a varied and complex caseload within the Assessment Team.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.
• Identify risks and needs, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Complete Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) work where required.
• Participate in strategy discussions, multi-agency meetings, and safeguarding processes.
• Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and case records.
• Work closely with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Contribute to effective care planning and decision-making.
