The Homeless Resettlement Service was created in response to the housing emergency to provide intensive resettlement support to homeless households. - Support homeless households moving from temporary to permanent accommodation.
- Work with a diverse range of clients including individuals and families, people fleeing domestic violence, those with substance misuse issues, and people leaving institutions such as prisons and hospitals.
- Position is regulated work involving children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Preference for candidates who have joined the PVG Scheme or are willing to undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- Must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if the applicant has been outside the UK for a continuous period of 3 months or more in the last 5 years.
- Unconditional offer of employment contingent on satisfactory outcome of both pre‑employment checks.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone feels valued and can perform at their best. We particularly encourage applications from women for senior roles, people from minority ethnic backgrounds, individuals with disabilities or neurodivergent conditions, care‑experienced people, carers, and LGBT+ individuals, all of whom are currently underrepresented. All applicants will be considered fairly based on skills and experience.
