This Safeguarding Social Worker position gives you the autonomy to manage your diary, focus on meaningful long term work, and reduce the pressure often seen in statutory services.

• £38 to £42 per hour.

You will be joining a local authority committed to improving outcomes through lower caseloads and a supportive working environment. The service focuses on quality over volume, enabling practitioners to build consistent relationships and deliver effective long term interventions.

• Manage a reduced caseload across child in need and child protection plans.
• Deliver long term family support with a relationship based approach.
• Complete assessments and interventions with minimal court involvement.
• Work collaboratively with experienced practitioners across safeguarding services.

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience working within safeguarding, child protection, or family safeguarding teams.
• Previous experience managing statutory caseloads within a local authority setting.
