Locum Senior Social Worker

We are recruiting an experienced Locum Senior Social Worker / Team Manager to join an Adult Social Work Team within Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social work professional to provide leadership, supervision, and operational management within a busy statutory adult services environment, supporting the delivery of person-centred, strengths-based practice through the Home First and Three Conversations models.

• Provide professional supervision, leadership, and support to a team of social work staff.
• Ensure staff have a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and service expectations.
• Guide and oversee decision-making in line with legislation, eligibility criteria, funding frameworks, and best practice.
• Provide advice and guidance on relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and social work practice standards.
• Promote and support the delivery of the Three Conversations model across the service.
• Manage workload allocation, capacity, and service demand effectively.
