An exciting opportunity at Garvald's Mayfield House Day Service in Dalkeith, Midlothian for a creative and motivated individual with experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
1x part-time workshop support worker – 21.5hrs hours, 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
£15,037.10 per annum (calculated pro rata from the full-time equivalent salary of £25,877 per annum).
An exciting opportunity at Garvald's Mayfield House Day Service in Dalkeith, Midlothian for a creative and motivated individual with relevant skills and experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Our creative workshops include Pottery, Jewellery, Textiles, Art & Print, Garden, and Kitchen. The post will be based 2 days with the Pottery Workshop and 1 day with the Kitchen Group, but you may be asked to support in other workshops depending on the needs of the service.
You will be helping our members to achieve positive outcomes, gain social and work skills, self-confidence and independence, and to make high-quality products.
Closing date:
Tuesday 1st September 12pm. Interviews are planned for week beginning 7th September.
Successful candidates are required to be members of the PVG scheme before formal offer of appointment.
