Are you an experienced automation developer ready to lead the design and delivery of innovative automation solutions that improve how government services operate?

Corporate Operations Directorate supports effective and efficient government operations by delivering critical technologies, shared services, automation and transformation projects across the Scottish Government. Within the Directorate, the Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence (IACoE) plays a vital role in transforming our corporate services - delivering early benefits, supporting organisational change and reducing risk across shared services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a motivated, collaborative and supportive team, where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skill-set, and help build the Scottish Government’s Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence.

As a Senior Automation Developer, you’ll play a key role in leading the design, development and delivery of automation solutions across a diverse portfolio of work. Reporting to the C1 Lead Automation Developer, you will provide coaching and technical leadership within the team, as well as direct line management responsibilities for Junior Automation Developers, while working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver robust, scalable and business-focused automation services.

You will take ownership of end-to-end solutions, support the operation of production services and drive continuous improvement across our automation capabilities.
