3.5 Tonne Van Driver (Tail Lift)

Newtongrange, EH22 – Covering Edinburgh & Midlothian
£13.25 per hour
Monday – Friday | 07:00 – 17:00
Occasional Saturday required

Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for
3.5 tonne van driversto support a local council project delivering new food waste containers to residents across the Edinburgh and Midlothian area.

This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering essential services to the local community, working with modern vehicles and reliable daytime hours.

• Driving a3.5-tonne Luton tail lift van
• Delivering food waste containers to residential properties
• Completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
• Manual handling and lifting using the tail lift
• Assisting with loading/unloading at the depot
• Organising stock to maximise van space
• Working as part of a team of2–6 staffto meet daily targets

• Valid Category B driving licence(held for minimum 2 years)
• Must meet insurance criteria
• Maximum6 penalty points
• No
  
  CD, DD, DG, DR, IN or TToffence codes
• Physically fit and able to lift up to23kg
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Previousvan driving experience required

• £13.25 per hour
