Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently seeking experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers for a full-time opportunity with a reputable client operating across Edinburgh and nearby areas. This role is ideal for drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday
8:00 am start times
Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
Overtime available based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab attachment
Completing multi‑drop deliveries safely and efficiently
Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Maintaining high standards of health & safety
Providing professional and customer‑focused service at all times

Pay Rates

PAYE – £16.20 per hour
£21.50 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced – £18.16 per hour
£24.20 per hour after 8 hours

Requirements

Valid UK Class 2 (Category

C) licence
Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E essential (AITT or RTITB certification also accepted)
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous HIAB experience preferred
Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious approach
