Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers to work with one of our well-established builders merchant clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified HIAB drivers looking for regular weekday work
, competitive rates of pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a reputable employer.

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am start times
• Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Overtime available depending on business requirements

• Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle fitted with a remote grab crane
• Delivering building materials to commercial, construction and residential sites
• Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with site procedures and health & safety regulations
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers at every delivery

PAYE

• £16.20 per hour
• £21.50 per hour after 8 hours

PAYE Advanced

• £18.16 per hour
• £24.20 per hour after 8 hours

• Minimum 40 hours guaranteed each week
• Weekly pay
• Overtime opportunities available

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• ALLMI C5+E HIAB certification (essential)
• AITT or RTITB HIAB qualifications also accepted
• Previous remote grab HIAB experience preferred
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
