HGV Class 2 Driver - Edinburgh People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh . This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term role with a structured shift pattern. You'll be responsible for completing scheduled bin collections across designated routes using an iPad to navigate and manage your daily workload.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver . Newly qualified Class 2 Drivers are welcome to apply. Rates of Pay: £17.00 per hour Shift Pattern:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will work: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, including weekends Start time: 04:00 Finish time:
Between 11:30 and 13:30, depending on the route Benefits:

Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Carrying out scheduled bin collections across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently Using an iPad-based routing system to complete your daily collection schedule Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate Working safely and following all company procedures Providing excellent service while representing the business professionally Shadowing an experienced driver during training to learn collection routes, loading duties and company systems Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C (Class
2) Driving Licence A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good geographical knowledge and the ability to follow planned routes A positive attitude and willingness to learn Good communication skills Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work Previous Class 2 or HGV driving experience is preferred; however, newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply Training:
