We currently have over 4000 highly trained frontline colleagues and now due to continued growth we have opportunities available in our award-winning teams for anHGV Driver.

The successful candidate will be trained to use our high-tech equipment and carry out enforcement action on untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA including the recovery of unlicensed vehicles.

You will learn how tooperatewithin the guidelinesestablishedin current legislation and procedures and ensure that all members of the public are treated equally and fairly.

For this role you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence [Class 1

HGV]+ HIAB[Desirable]

This is a full time, permanent role working 42.5hours per week.

• Attends a daily briefing and collects all removal information and reports relevant to the day’s work.
• Ensures vehicle and equipmentisserviceable and fit for purpose, reports all faults to the Pound Manager.
• Carries out a physical examination of all lifting and towing equipment, and ensures the digital tachograph isoperatingcorrectly.
• Checks to make sure the recovery vehicleis capable of removing the vehicles safely and informs the pound manager of any concerns.
• Carries out the safe removal of all vehicles, assigned either via the tablet p.c. or by telephone from the pound. Ensures all photographs required of the vehicle are taken and completes a vehicle condition report, contacts the pound to confirmremovaland requests the Police are informed.
• Delivers the vehicles to the pound, unloads and takes further photographs. Requests next task from the office and repeats the process.
• Can often work with other agencies, when required including, Police, DVLA and VOSA.
• Deals with enquiries from the publicregardining enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
• Must be flexible in their attitude to working hours, locations and must be prepared to take on other roles, temporarily, as required by the operation.
• Be presentable and showhigh levelsof personal integrity and honesty
