HGV Class 2 Driver - Castle Vale People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Castle Vale and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are looking for stability, excellent earning potential and long-term progression within a well-established logistics operation. This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay: £15.79 per hour Monday to Friday £23.68 per hour after qualifying hours and weekends (where applicable) Shift Pattern:
Monday to Saturday Daily start times between 7:00am and 11:00am Ongoing work available Flexibility required to meet business needs Benefits:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Safely operate and drive Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations Deliver household items and bedroom products to customers' homes alongside a Driver's Mate Complete loading and unloading duties accurately and safely Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Adhere to all road traffic legislation and company procedures Maintain accurate delivery records and associated paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff Complete multi-drop deliveries in a professional manner Handball goods as part of the delivery process Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C Driving Licence A valid CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes Good communication and customer service skills A professional and reliable attitude A strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate The ability to complete physically demanding duties including handballing Training:
