Civil Engineering, Site Manager
Ascot Pierce have partnered with a privately owned construction contractor delivering infrastructure and public works projects. The business is growing and is appointing Assistant Project Managers, with a clear development route into full Project Manager positions.
The projects cover water and wastewater infrastructure, treatment facilities, utilities, piping, concrete, earthwork and site civil.
A heavy civil or water/wastewater background is not required. Hiring is based on general construction ability and willingness to learn. Previous hires have come from commercial, retail, residential, telecom, healthcare and pharmaceutical construction.
Requirements- Three or more years' experience in construction in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer or project coordination capacity
- Exposure to submittals, RFIs, procurement, scheduling or cost tracking
- Site based experience and a practical understanding of how work is delivered
- Ambition to progress into running projects independently
A degree is not required.
LocationSuccessful candidates are assigned to a single project rather than travelling between sites. Work is spread across New Jersey and into lower New York State.
