In-House Estimator

We are looking for a motivated professional who understands commercial construction, can accurately interpret construction drawings, and can prepare competitive, detailed estimates to support our bidding and project planning process.

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction drawings.
• Prepare accurate material, labor, and overall project cost estimates.
• Utilize AI and Pro Core for digital takeoffs, estimating, and bid preparation.
• Review plans, specifications, and addenda to identify project requirements.
• Estimate commercial carpentry scopes, including metal and wood framing, drywall, ceilings, doors and hardware, blocking, backing, millwork, and finish carpentry.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare organized, detailed bid proposals and estimate breakdowns.
• Meet bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

• Proven experience estimating commercial carpentry projects.
• Strong working knowledge of AI and Pro Core and digital estimating tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of commercial carpentry construction materials, labor production rates, and installation methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bid deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
