Locum Tenens Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician – New Jersey

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning in March at a large, well-supported program in Central New Jersey
.

This opportunity offers a mix of outpatient high-risk obstetrics, inpatient consultation, and call coverage
, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by experienced clinical staff.

Position Highlights:

• Ongoing locum opportunity starting in March
• Combination of clinic, ATU, inpatient consults, and call coverage
• High-acuity, high-volume MFM practice environment
• Support from sonographers, nurses, genetic counselors, residents, fellows, and APPs
• Onsite call includes assistance with medically complex deliveries in L&D

Clinical Scope:

• Interpretation and supervision of perinatal diagnostic studies (ultrasound, BPPs, Dopplers)
• Prenatal consultation for complex maternal and fetal conditions
• Management of high-risk pregnancies including preterm labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, and placental abnormalities
• Inpatient consultations and co-management of obstetric patients
• Participation in multidisciplinary care planning
• Supervision of sonographers and collaboration with OB/GYN teams

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call coverage: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Up to 5 days per week, including ATU and call responsibilities

Candidates &

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine (ABOG)
• Comfortable in a high-volume, collaborative clinical setting
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license

Technology:

• Integrated EMR system (Epic-based)
