Senior Electrical Engineer

With more than 30 years of combined experience in the field of optoelectronics, our OSI Optoelectronics (OSIO) division is a diversified manufacturer of standard and custom photodiodes and optical sensors used in aerospace, defense, commercial and medical applications. OSI Laser Diode, a division of OSI Optoelectronics, seeks an Electrical Engineer to develop and support new opto‑electronic products, design analog and digital circuits, work with suppliers, and release products into production.

• Design opto‑electronic modules & components.
• Write product specifications.
• Interface with customers.
• Interface with internal functions & manufacturing.
• Write software code as required.
• Conduct supplier development.
• Provide technical marketing support.
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Report quality problems or defects to senior management for corrective action.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 5+ years of experience in electronic product design (required).
• Proven knowledge of optoelectronic applications.
• Strong understanding of analog & digital interface techniques.
• Experience with circuit simulation, Python, and LabVIEW applications & code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience designing lenses and optics is a plus.
• Deep understanding of opto‑electronic device characteristics.
