Position: Electrical Engineer with Security Clearance
Description SAIC is currently hiring for an Electrical Engineer in Lakehurst NJ. This position is ONSITE in Lakehurst NJ.

Job Duties:

* Provides professional electrical engineering technical support to the full scope of assigned projects in naval or maritime applications, including field or on-site engineering services.
* Performs feasibility analyses and design/development, prototyping, testing, and evaluation of new components and engineering changes.
* Develops and reviews plans, specifications, and estimates to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Interprets data and performs studies and investigations to propose new or improved system designs, design criteria, and installation, operational, and maintenance practices.
* Has familiarity with and follows the Systems Engineering process to clearly identify program/project risks and technical barriers.
* Takes direction and tasking from supervisor and senor engineering team leads, provides status, and accomplishes work assignments meeting quality and schedule expectations.
* Performs and documents troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in support of test site activities and efforts to commission, certify, deliver, and sustain Ford Class aircraft carriers. Qualifications Required

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering (BSEE) and five (5) years of experience.
* Possesses experience in design and development of new components and engineering changes, by leveraging systems engineering processes to reduce risk.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders of varying technical knowledge and viewpoints.
* Has technical experience with low-power systems, complex programmable logic devices (CPLD), programmable logic controllers (PLC), computers, and human interfaces.
* Has been successful in the execution of technical projects within and electro-mechanical system.
* Preferred - Has technical experience with high-power systems up to 13.8kVA.
* Familiarity with the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process a plus. Required Security Clearance:
* Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
