I&CE Project Lead​/Manager- Oil & Gas Industry

Job Title: I&CE Project Lead/Manager

Location: Edison, New Jersey

• Bachelor or Master's Engineering Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in Chemical or Petrochemical industries or Refineries.
• Domain experience:
  Instrumentation & Control, Automation, and Electrical Engineering projects.
• Demonstrated history of working in all phases of project life cycle (Concept, Feasibility, FEL, FEED, DED).
• Experience in Plant Capital or expense projects, Plant Maintenance/reliability/sustenance projects.
• Experience in Plant controls systems, instruments and analyzers projects, electrical projects.
• Strong engineering skills in estimating, planning, monitoring, executing, and commissioning.
• Onsite coordinator experience between offshore and client office.
• Basic understanding of multiple disciplines (Process, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation) and ability to provide inputs to offshore team.
• Coordination with stakeholders: suppliers/vendors, agencies/contractors, site team.
• Preparation of Equipment datasheets, specifications, RFQs, and aligning with client.
• Support in project schedule preparation and aligning with client.
• Preparation of Tender/SOW documents.
• Vendor management: floating enquiries, reviewing offers, preparing TBA, finalizing vendors.
• Follow‑up vendors for delivery, FAT/SAT.
• Project execution: coordination with site team, vendors, contractors for installation and commissioning.

• Extensive client and stakeholder management; building relationships with clients.
• Planning, implementing, monitoring, and coordination of various aspects of Project Life Cycle.
• Excellent multitasking, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills.
• Creativity and innovation.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, patient, strong work ethic.
• Problem‑solving aptitude in fast‑paced environments.
• Hands‑on experience with onsite‑offshore coordination.
