The Financial Revenue Analyst III

• Consistently and timely communicate with applicable HMH departments and outside accounting firms regarding inquiries; prepare and communicate reconciliations and analyses.
• Lead meetings with departmental and senior management; prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare, analyze, and journalize the monthly revenue cycle.
• Explain monthly and year-to-date variances and fluctuations using statistical, financial, and operational data.
• Review payor contracts and understand revenue impact.
• Support the monthly financial close process and prepare monthly financial statements for assigned areas.
• Analyze and report on accounts receivable trends, cash results, aging, bad debt, and payment success.
• Assist Site Finance Controllers with monthly revenue analysis.
• Prepare detailed work papers, support monthly journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, including intercompany eliminations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for revenue.
• Provide financial analysis support to other functional areas within HMH.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Master's of Business Administration (MBA).

Minimum rate of $95,555.20 annually. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting.

Certain positions may be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions. Shift differentials may apply for evening, night, or weekend shifts.
