Overview
Practice Manager - Primary Care - Physician Practice at Hackensack Meridian Health. The Practice Manager oversees practice operations and business functions including scheduling, registration, billing, collection, patient and team member satisfaction, and purchasing. Supervises clinical and clerical team members and serves as liaison between the practice and administration.

- Office Management:
Act as liaison between the Practice Administrator, providers, and team members. Coordinate activities to promote teamwork and intra-office communication. Greet and assist patients and visitors, manage patient flow, address delays, and monitor patient satisfaction with progress reports to administration. Proactively address facility issues and manage property work orders. - Operational Improvement:
Develop and implement goals, objectives, and policies and procedures. Oversee office operation and act as a resource to staff and physicians. Ensure adequate inventory and monitor purchasing within budget. - Billing/Financial Oversight:
Oversee billing practices, ensure accurate data entry, posting of charges and payments, end-of-day procedures, and regulatory compliance. Run billing and reconciliation reports; maintain daily deposit records; monitor physician performance and provide feedback to improve efficiencies. Prepare monthly reports on visits, volumes, expenses, and revenue for the Practice Administrator. - Other duties as assigned and adherence to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- People and Patient Focus:
Maintain a minimum capability to lift 5 lbs, push/pull 5 lbs, and stand for at least 1 hour per day as part of job duties.
Education,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Two years of supervisory experience or Associate's degree in Business Management or related health field; supervisory experience required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, multitasking, organization, and flexibility; strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Education,
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related health field.
- Knowledge of Epic.
Starting at $60,174.40 annually. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay at posting and may not reflect the full value of the rewards package.
