Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Location: Princeton, NJ (onsite).

Job Type: W-2, Part-Time.

Schedule: 1 weekday per week. Preferred Thursdays. 4–6 hour workday within 7:45am–4:30pm.

Pay Rate: Starting at $85/hr.

Employer: A New Jersey physician‑owned professional corporation (the “PC”).

Administrative Agent: Vital Check Wellness Inc. (non‑clinical support only).

Full Description

Vital Check Wellness, as the administrative agent, is seeking an experienced licensed clinical psychologist to provide therapy and counseling services to employees in a corporate wellness clinic located onsite at a major financial institution in Princeton, NJ. The psychologist will focus on delivering individual counseling, mental health support, and coaching services to employees in a corporate office setting. The role may also involve offering guidance to managers and leaders on fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.

The employer will be a New Jersey professional corporation owned and directed by licensed physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Use appropriate diagnostic assessments and tests to evaluate clients and develop treatment plans for psychological, emotional, or behavioral concerns.
  • Provide individual and/or group counseling, mental health support, and evidence‑based therapies to employees in a corporate setting.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to help create workplace wellness and accommodation plans when needed.
  • Coach managers and provide tools and strategies to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
  • Make external referrals and coordinate care with other treatment team members, agencies, and healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client contacts, consultations, and updates to treatment plans; adjust interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and assisting with workplace accommodations is a valued addition to this role but not a core requirement.
Requirements
  • PsyD, or a PhD in psychology or a related field from a graduate school accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Fully Licensed Psychologist eligible to provide services in the state of New Jersey.
  • Active BLS/ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 year relevant work experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Significant experience working with neurodivergent conditions is highly valued.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment and coaching managers.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Princeton, NJ.
