Dietary Aide

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Prep and serve breakfast, snacks and noon meal to all participants according to dietary orders under the supervision and direction of the Registered Dietician (RD) and the Food Service Manager. Also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the serving kitchen and equipment.

Shift: Per diem (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM / 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM)

Requirement:

• Must have a high School diploma or equivalent.
• Dietary experience in a health care environment along with knowledge of basic health and nutrition preferred.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, work cooperatively with co-workers and be able to work independently with minimal supervision as needed.
• Experience in Long-term care/Nursing Facility preferred.
