Physical Therapy Aide

About Us: Heritage of Clara Barton is an Assisted Living facility who has in house Rehab Therapy department.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate is a caring individual with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a healthcare environment and helping patients on their journey to recovery. We are looking for around 5 hours a day Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient care under supervision
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, safe clinic environment
• Guide patients through exercise programs as directed by the therapist
• Set up and clean equipment before and after use
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling and documentation support
• Greet patients, answer questions, and provide a welcoming environment
• Support the clinical team with any other tasks to ensure efficient daily operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience in a physical therapy, fitness, or healthcare setting (preferred but not required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Organized, dependable, and compassionate
• Basic computer skills
