GeneralPosition Description
The HR Admin (Contract Position) supports the Human Resources department by managing daily administrative tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of HR functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, processing benefit enrollments, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities, including pre-employment screenings and new hire documentation. The HR Admin also handles confidential information with professionalism, coordinates company-sponsored events, and provides administrative support to the Equipment Division through data entry and record maintenance.
This is a Temporary position in person Monday through Friday in Edison, NJ
Responsibilities- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Support the recruiting and onboarding process (pre-employment drug screens and onboarding activities)
- Manage day-to-day accurate maintenance of human resources records, benefits, and Applicant Tracking System
- Process employee benefit enrollments
- Handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Coordinate company sponsored events such as meetings, parties and annual volunteer drives and projects
- Support Equipment Division with data entry of purchase orders
- Assist with various research and special projects as assigned
- Other duties as required
- 5+ years of office related experience, previous HR Experience preferred
- Bilingual strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service, teamwork and people skills
- Self-directed, organized and self-motivated
- Ability to execute – Sense of Urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced challenging environment
- Ability and desire to learn and progress within your position
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
