Onboarding Specialist

Soni Resources is partnering with a client near Edison, NJ, on the search for an Onboarding Specialist
.

This role will support the employee onboarding process and ensure a positive experience for new hires. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable with technology, and enjoys working with people. The Onboarding Specialist will assist with onboarding documentation, maintain employee data, and communicate with new hires throughout the onboarding process.

• Support the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all required documents and information are completed.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain employee records within HR systems.
• Assist with onboarding tasks and employee record management through ADP Workforce Now.
• Communicate with new hires in both English and Spanish, guiding them through onboarding steps and answering basic questions.
• Help collect and review required employment documentation.
• Assist with I-9 verification when applicable.
• Maintain organized and confidential employee records.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist with tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 1+ year of administrative, HR support, or data entry experience preferred (internships or relevant experience considered).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
• Experience with I-9 documentation is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$19 - $21/ Hr

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
