We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer with strong experience designing, developing, and automating complex data solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving organizational efficiency by automating repetitive data processes, reducing manual intervention, and enhancing data accessibility. This role works closely with application developers, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to ensure seamless and scalable data integration across multiple platforms.

Functions
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Implement and enforce data quality and governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Provide input for project plans, timelines, and execution strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain strong communication throughout the project.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to management.
  • Follow established Architecture Review Board standards and contribute to ongoing improvements as technologies evolve.
  • Promote ethical conduct and adhere to business compliance requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies through continuous learning.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Build robust data integration solutions to streamline data flows across varied systems and databases.
  • Continuously optimize data workflows to enhance automation, performance, and maintainability.
  • Create end‑to‑end data solutions using modern technologies, including scripting languages, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure all data environments meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows, proactively resolving issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide documentation, training, and ongoing technical support to users of data automation systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation such as design specifications, solution architecture, and operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of data automation technologies such as Python, SQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, Kafka, APIs, and cloud data pipelines.
  • Experience with GCP Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
  • Hands‑on experience with orchestration tools like Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi or SAP BTP.
  • Experience with IBM Data Stage or Alteryx is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles including normalization, indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to design scalable database schemas for both analytical and transactional workloads.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, Micro Strategy, or similar.
  • Experience with data modeling tools.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Clarizen).
  • Understanding of Dev Ops practices for data, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong skills in data management, data quality, and data governance.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively across multiple projects.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
