We are seeking a distinguished Lead SAP GTS Consultant to serve as the Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our trade compliance landscape. The ideal candidate will possess deep architectural and functional knowledge across all SAP Global Trade Services modules and have proven experience leading major migration projects. This role requires strategic leadership, team management, and hands‑on functional configuration skills.

The successful candidate must possess demonstrable, project‑based experience in all the following areas:

• Import/Export Control: Expert-level configuration and implementation experience with Compliance Management for both Import and Export controls (SPL, Embargo, Licenses).
• Customs Management: Proven track record in designing and implementing specific customs procedures, including:
• US Customs:
  
  Experience with
  Customs Filings (AES) and Implementing Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) in the US environment.
• European Customs: Experience implementing Inward Processing Relief (IPR) in European member states.
• Preference Management: Deep experience in configuring and utilizing Preference Management to determine eligibility and issue documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin).

• RISE Migration Leadership: Non‑negotiable experience leading or serving as the lead architect for GTS Migration from GTS 11.0 On‑Premise (OP) to e4H on RISE with SAP (or similar complex on‑premise to cloud migration projects).
• Technical Development: Strong understanding and experience with GTS Technical Development (user exits, BAdIs, debugging, and data flow architecture between SAP ECC/S/4
  
  HANA and GTS).
• Integration: Solid technical knowledge of integration touchpoints with middleware (PI/PO/BTP) and core S/4
  
  HANA/ECC modules (SD, MM, FI).

• Industry Expertise: Proven Life Sciences experience
  , understanding the unique regulatory and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
• Team Leadership: Prior Team Leading experience
  , including blueprinting, managing project deliverables, mentoring junior consultants, and managing technical stakeholders.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive, hands‑on experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Extensive experience with SAP GTS versions 11.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a primary point of contact for global trade strategy.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
