JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an Associate Scrum Master to support our Digital Technology Services (DTS) teams in Edison, New Jersey. The role is full‑time with benefits and is a key position within Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH).

The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Associate Scrum Master will facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove blockers, and promote an agile mindset across teams.
Responsibilities- Perform all scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint review, sprint planning) ensuring full team engagement.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement.
- Conduct basic conflict resolution and foster cooperation across team members.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within and outside the team.
- Shield the team from external interference and maintain a productive environment.
- Promote self‑organization and growth within the team.
- Generate an agile mindset through conversations and role‑playing exercises.
- Create a trusting, safe environment for raising problems and challenging the status quo.
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field, applicable technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
- 0‑2 years of experience in an agile software development environment, preferably as a Scrum Master.
- General knowledge of Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum tools (e.g., Asana).
- Software development or delivery experience.
- Familiarity with technology stacks.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, desire to learn, and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship‑building skills and ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Translation of complex technical concepts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Agile work process.
- Experience with customer focus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred: - Experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Certified Scrum Practitioner.
- Certified Scrum Master.
Starting at $82,513.60 annually. HMH is committed to pay equity and displays a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act.
Job Duties- Compensation benchmarked against market data.
- Consideration of experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget/Grant funding.
- Potential eligibility for performance‑based incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
- Possible shift differentials for evening, night, or weekend shifts.
