Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Data Architect / BI Solution Architect to design, build, and govern enterprise-scale analytics and data platforms on Microsoft Azure
. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise with Azure Synapse (mandatory),
ADF
, Databricks
, ADLS
, and Power BI
, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

This position works closely with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and technical leads to deliver end‑to‑end cloud data and analytics solutions aligned with governance, security, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end BI and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Monitor
  .

• Define high‑level and low‑level architectures for data ingestion, processing, storage, and reporting.

• Design scalable, secure Azure solutions leveraging MPP architectures and cloud best practices.

• Architect and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and near‑real‑time) using ADF, Databricks, and streaming services.

• Ensure efficient ingestion and transformation of large‑scale datasets into Data Lakes and Cloud Data Warehouses
  .

• Coordinate with ETL and reporting teams to deliver robust, performant data pipelines.

• Design and govern data models including normalized, star, snowflake schemas
  , EDW, and ODS.

• Support analytical cube design and reporting layers aligned to business requirements.

• Provide architectural oversight for ADLS, Azure Synapse
  , and integrations with Snowflake and AWS Lake Formation
  .

• Lead BI solution design
  , data profiling, and reporting strategies using Power BI and Azure Analysis Services
  .

• Ensure strong data quality, master data management (MDM), and reference data practices.

• Apply basic predictive analytics and ML concepts (EDA, regression models) to enhance analytical capabilities.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory standards across all solutions.

• Conduct solution and design reviews
  , validate architectures, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.

• Work with Azure AD, monitoring, and security teams to implement secure access and auditing.

• Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Experience Required

• 10 years in data architecture, BI, or analytics engineering

• Extensive Azure cloud data platform experience

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions
