Title – Technician / Data Center Technician

Location - Northlake, IL

Duration - 6+Months Contract (possible extension)

Our Team is currently seeking a strong Data Center Technician to support both company-specific servers as well as data center buildouts at customer data centers. The ideal candidate balances strong technical hardware, physical network set up, and verbal/written communication skills, who are also highly analytical with superior attention-to-detail, self-motivated, and a positive, humble 'results driven' attitude.

• Required Experience:
  
  2+yrs and above
• Hardware / Server Troubleshooting skills
• Great server hardware knowledge with a deep understanding of all component & system type failures
• Utilize Linux and Windows Command-Line to troubleshoot hardware.
• Physical Network Set-Up
• Network troubleshooting of Layer-1, Layer-2, Layer-3
• Ability to independently and regularly lift items weighing up to 50lbs or in partnership for items over 50lbs in weight.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma / Associate/ Bachelors / Equivalent experience

• CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience
• CompTIA Server+ or Network + equivalent experience
• CCENT or equivalent experience
• Data Center Experience
