Job Description
We are hiring an experienced New Jersey Personal Injury Attorney to help us launch and lead our New Jersey office. This position is ideal for a highly organized attorney who thrives on structure, systems, and precision. You will manage select personal injury cases while taking the lead in building and documenting the firm’s SOPs, workflows, and operational playbooks for the state.
Initially remote, this role will transition to in-office leadership as our physical office opens in Northern New Jersey (Edison/Newark area).
III.Key Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive SOPs for all New Jersey PI operations (intake through resolution).
- Develop standardized templates, pleadings, forms, and case workflows.
- Establish quality benchmarks and communication protocols for attorneys, case managers, and paralegals.
- Work closely with firm leadership to ensure all systems align with firm-wide best practices.
- Manage a reduced caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Conduct client interviews, case evaluations, and discovery.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal filings.
- Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel to achieve optimal results.
- Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and court proceedings when necessary.
- Train, mentor, and guide local staff as the office grows.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the New Jersey office and firm leadership.
- Model excellence, accountability, and alignment with firm culture and values.
- Salary: $125,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience and process-development capability).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST.
- Location: Edison/Newark, NJ area (remote initially; in-office once established).

- Active New Jersey Bar license (required).
- Minimum 5+ years of personal injury experience
, with strong command of both pre-litigation and litigation processes. - Demonstrated success in creating or implementing law firm processes or SOPs
. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in drafting workflows and policy documentation.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-centered judgment.
- Proven ability to lead with structure and inspire operational discipline.
