Garda World Cash Services, one of the nation’s largest cash services and armored car companies, is seeking to fill a Branch Manager in Training position. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of our armored transportation and cash processing facility, with a focus on security, cash services, and profit and loss management.

• Supervise all employees at the branch, including supervisors, drivers/messengers, and vault personnel.
• Recruit and train new employees.
• Reward, coach, and counsel employees.
• Ensure employee qualifications meet Department of Transportation guidelines and state/county guard and weapons requirements.
• Assign daily vehicle schedules, ensuring vehicle safety and fitness through contact with the vehicle services department or local vendors.
• Supervise vault personnel and assist in vault operations when needed.
• Fill in on armored and/or ATM routes as required.
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members.
• Maintain a minimum of five years of management experience in transportation or a related field.
• Have knowledge and experience in supply chain logistics, routing, and driver supervision.
• Hold a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a commercial license.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record per company standards.
• Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Obtain or be able to obtain a firearm license.
• Give clear oral and written instructions, and train and lead armored and CVS employees.
• Show familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel;
  Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access knowledge is required. Be able to work with spreadsheets.
• Obtain knowledge of the Armored Car Personnel Work Rules or branch labor agreements, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state guard and gun regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Managers may work indoors and outdoors in all lighting and weather conditions, including heat, sun, rain, snow, and ice. Personal protective equipment, including firearms, holsters, and uniforms, may be required. Bullet resistant vests are supplied by Garda CL and are recommended for use.
